Question: What is the length of the outer barrel?
Answer: According to google - "The outer barrel is made of aluminum and is 8.5 inches. Covering the outer barrel is a 7†quad rail system". We do not have one in the shop at the moment to measure.
Question: can you remove the front iron sight? im adding an optic.
Answer: The triangle sights are part of the outer barrel, so you would have to replace the outer barrel if you wanted to remove the triangle sight.
