The PolarStar Fusion Engine uses a dual solenoid, closed bolt system. Its electro-pneumatic powered so it requires both an air source and small battery to operate. This means it has two electronically controlled valves that independently manage the firing air (poppet valve) and feeding (nozzle), giving you complete control over loading and air usage. A closed bolt system improves accuracy because the BB is stationary before being fired, unlike open bolt systems where the BB can move before firing.
