No, the SWAT-T tourniquet is not approved by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). The TCCC currently recommends the use of the CAT (Combat Application Tourniquet) and the SOF-T (Special Operations Forces Tourniquet) as primary tourniquets. The Milsim West Tourniquet is not a life saving tool, it is designed to simulate and quantify when players are "hit".
