Dry firing an AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) airsoft gun occasionally is generally not harmful, as these guns do not rely on compressed gas or a real firing pin. However, excessive dry firing can cause unnecessary wear on internal components like the gears and piston, so it's best to avoid doing it repeatedly without BBs loaded.
