Changing the motor in an airsoft AEG can increase the rate of fire (ROF) but does not directly increase FPS (feet per second). FPS is mainly determined by the strength of the spring, air seal, and barrel length, not the motor. However, a more powerful motor can help maintain consistent FPS if the setup is under strain.
