A longer inner barrel can slightly increase FPS (feet per second) in airsoft guns by allowing more time for the air to accelerate the BB. However, after a certain length, gains become minimal or may even decrease due to increased friction and loss of air pressure. Optimal barrel length depends on the gun's air volume and power source.
