A drop leg holster should sit high enough on your thigh to allow easy access to your firearm, typically with the top of the holster just below the belt line. It should not hang so low that it impedes movement or bounces excessively; generally, one to two inches below the belt is ideal. The holster should feel secure and comfortable, allowing a natural draw.
