Thank you for your questions. How much you cut off is mag dependent. We sadly are unable to tell you exactly how much to cut off. You will need to take a look at your original spring and compare the length. Then leave your spring a little longer before cutting it. Then try it. You should not loose many rounds if any as long as you do it correctly. Hope this helps!
