You usually cut the springs down to about what the stock ones you pull out are. Are these springs the same size (like width wise)? That might be why it's "clogging". but try cutting them down first.

I got these for my hexmag 230 round mags, but it seems I have an issue with it getting stuck around the corners within the mag, and the follower gets stuck when I fill with bbs. The original mag springs were the same size, should I cut down the springs? When I took the superfeed springs back out they were really compressed
