Will one of these shims bring my Maxx trigger closer to the F2 microswitch, and does shimming affect the fire-mode back switch?

Hi, I’m looking to bring my Maxx trigger closer to my F2 microswitch as when I assemble the gearbox the trigger’s contact point doesn’t reach the microswitch.
Will one of these shims solve my issue and how does shimming the trigger board affect the back switch for adjusting fire modes?

Depending on the gearbox you may need to shim the trigger board up and shim the trigger so there is less left to right movement as you are pulling the trigger. We have a pile of shims on our tech desks that are used on a daily basis.
