You will not need a battery for a gas blowback system, only for an HPA engine with electronics. And we're not familiar with that model of hi capa, but if you can convert the mag, then this will work fine.
What's the battery for? I don't see a battery compartment in the pictures. Also, would this work on an R611 hi capa? Amped Custom HPA Starter SLP Air Rig Kit | Tank and Air Rig
So what’s the battery for I looked at all the pictures and I’m not really seeing a place for a battery but still I’m new to this and I had another question would this work on a r611 hi capa I know I could do the research but knowing me I won’t find what I’m looking for

Answer: It should just xxxx back on. Make sure the tank isn't attached and that might make it easier.

Answer: No, there is no battery required to run a tapped gas gun. Only for an HPA unit's FCU.
