Hello,
This is optional, but you might want to remove the pin on the top and take the arm out, then from there remove the nub. It is possible when removing the hop up that the nub can get sucked in, and if it does it could destroy it.
Other than that there should be nothing to worry about. The bucking may or may not come out when removing the hop up, but that shouldn't cause any problems.
