What do these shims actually do, and would my month-old Amped custom build with a black Fusion Engine already have them installed?

What do these actually do if, I bought a amped custom build with a black fusion engine and red poppet and nozzle about a month back would it already have these shims installed? Thanks

Hello,
The poppet shims reduce the movement of the poppet to allow less air to get through, thus making the Fusion Engine more air efficient.
I believe that your Fusion Engine should just have a generic stock poppet shim currently.
