Pardon me, but I am having trouble understanding your question. If it is pertaining to the buffer tube being metal, yes it is. It is also to Milspec size and not commercial.
The inner barrel is an aluminum standard combat machine barrel. The external barrel is a typical combat machine multi piece barrel constructed of metal, but is not a solid piece.
