Thank you for your question. These gearboxes are designed to take a pretty good beating. They should handle an M170 for an extended period of time compared to other standard gearbox shells. However, please keep in mind that with all high power springs such as this, that they will eventually wear out parts, including the shell overtime (Depending on your particular setup).
