You don't wire in the battery - you plug it into the FCU. You are still going to need an FCU for the battery to plug into and an FCU wire harness to go into the trigger board. All this piece does is replace the normal trigger board. You will have to solder the two connectors. The one micro switch is for your selector position and the one wire will get soldered into your existing wire contacts in the AEG.
