Brushless motors offer a higher torque to weight ratio, increased efficiency (more torque per watt), higher reliability, lower maintenance, less mechanical noise, and a longer lifespan due to no brushes or commutator erosion. They also eliminate ionizing sparks (reducing the risk of electrostatic discharge, or ESD) and greatly reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). These features make an airsoft brushless motor the preferred choice for high performance and longevity in airsoft.
