Yes, increased performance has been noticed with even heavier BBs when using an r hop barrel, and it’s recommended to use the heaviest BBs you are comfortable with and that your rifle can support, within field limits. Heavier BBs are less affected by wind and maintain momentum, providing better accuracy at longer ranges.
